If you prefer to purchase Yufkateig instead of making it from scratch, you can find it in Turkish or Oriental supermarkets. It is important to note that store-bought Yufkateig may be drier compared to homemade dough, which can make it more prone to breaking during handling. Allow the refrigerated Yufkateig to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before using. If using frozen Yufkateig, let it thaw slowly in the refrigerator overnight.
