Regina Wetzel joins the Sasbach community as the new Head of Financial Administration
On January 12, 2024, Regina Wetzel was appointed as the new Head of Financial Administration (Kämmerin) of the Sasbach community. Wetzel, originally from Oberschwaben, has already started her service on January 1, 2024.
Prior to her appointment, Wetzel achieved remarkable academic success. She completed her Abitur at Studienkolleg St. Johann Blönried, where she emerged as the top student in her year. She then pursued a degree in Public Management at Hochschule Kehl, graduating with the third-highest honors in her class. During her studies, she specialized in economics and finance, gaining valuable experience at Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe, Landratsamt Biberach an der Riß, and Polizeipräsidium Offenburg.
Most recently, Wetzel worked at the city of Achern in the field of budgeting and accounting. In this role, she was responsible for creating budget plans and annual financial statements, as well as conducting controlling activities and managing engagements.
